This had been a question in my mind for many years as I served as a missionary in Cambodia. I believe a Christian, new or matured, can be a disciple of Jesus after God’s heart. In this study book, I have used some examples of David’s life and his obedience to God as to why he was called a man after God’s heart. I applied the combination of David’s life to discipleship with spiritual disciplines to transform our lives as disciples of Jesus. Hence, in this study, we will find out how a Christian can be a disciple after God’s heart. Here is how you can use this book: first you study to be a disciple of Jesus after God’s heart, then you study this book the second time to be a disciple seeking after God’s heart.
